Infrastructure Development

Improved high speed internet and cell phone service throughout the rural areas of the Colchester region will put Colchester on an even playing field with other areas with the same infrastructure. The new infrastructure will also be used as a new marketing tool to attract new residents and companies to the area. CoRDA has been working with several internet and cell phone service providers to develop the business case.

CoRDA will continue to research funding options and inform the communities of what they are. We are hoping that in the upcoming fiscal year there will be a program to fund telecommunications projects.
