The mission of the Colchester Regional Development Agency is
as follows:
CoRDA will drive sustainable economic growth, creating
healthy communities, prosperous business and opportunity for
our citizens.
The Colchester Regional Development
Agency (CoRDA) was established in 1992. In its early years,
CoRDA provided a model for other Regional Development Agencies
to follow. The strength of the Agency was that it grew from
“grass roots”. Citizen’s recognized the
opportunity to build on Colchester’s strengths to
grow the area’s economy.
The Colchester Regional Development
Agency works with the community to create sustainable
economic growth in the Colchester region of Nova Scotia,
Canada. Local communities including Truro, Stewiacke, Debert
and Tatamagouche benefit from its efforts in many areas
including business development, community development,
immigration, and youth attraction, retention, and employment
programs.
